Would it not have been great to see Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton fighting it out in a triathlon race? 

Earlier this week Lewis agreed to participate in a triathlon in order to prove that he is in a better condition than Jenson, actually he said he is the fittest man in the Formula One world. Jenson would even have offered to pay £10k to charity if Lewis was able to beat him. 

Bear in mind that Jenson only recently ended 117th out of 1700 in the Windsor triathlon. 

Both of them agreed to go ahead with the deal but Lewis called the deal off shorthly after because his dad seems not to believe in his capabilities and would have to face public humilation, the official version is that Lewis need to concentrate for 100% on his Formule One career.

In the same interview David Coulthard had ruled himself out to compete against his two fellow colleagues but would have agreed to carry their drink bottles. 

Jenson will participate in the Bath Triathlon on the 27th of July. Good luck to him.
