Tight IT Band and knee problem

Ever since the running race at the end of January I have been suffering with my left leg. Initially I had severe pain in my groin, see my previous post, this is much better now but I feel pain in my knee and feel tight on the outside of my leg. I have been reading about the IT Band lately and dread to think that I might have this syndrome.

During my run yesterday I was absolutely fine but afterwards the pain/tightness started. Today I can feel my left calf being tight too.
I follow Yoga exercises at home and like to think that I do enough stretches, but then again what is enough!?

I ordered from Pattstrap a strap for just above my knee and hope this will solve or prevent things from getting worse.

I found the following sites which shows how to stretch the IT band, some of the exercises are already incorporated in my almost daily yoga exercises so that should be fine.
